Though recent floods in various districts of the Province caused some difficulties, Nepali Army personnel were mobilised to renovate structures destroyed by the floods, he informed.

He also added that the agitating Rastriya Janata Pary Nepal’s decision to take part in the elections helped the government control security threats.

Assistant Home Minister Shyam Kumar Shrestha, Election Commissioner Ila Sharma and Home Secretary Lok Darshan Regmi were also present on the occasion.
