Kathmandu, August 20
Former joint coordinator of Naya Shakti Party Nepal has entered the CPN-Maoist Centre on Sunday.
CPN-MC Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal welcomed Jha among others to the party at a function organised in Kathmandu today.
Naya Shakti’s another central leader Ram Kumar Sharma also defected to the Maoist party.
The two leaders were in then UCPN-Maoist before former prime minister Baburam Bhattarai formed Naya Shakti. The Bhattarai-led party has already expelled the duo after they revealed their plan to join the Maoists.
Meanwhile, speaking at the function, Jha criticised Bhattarai claiming he could not take right decisions on right time. He also said the Naya Shakti could not be unified with the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal owing to Bhattarai’s indecisiveness.
He also came down on his former party, CPN-UML, claiming it ignored various forms of discrimination existing in society.

Meanwhile, speaking at the function, CPN-MC Chairman Dahal has said Bhattarai has knowledge, but not wisdom, hence he has been unable to take right decisions.
He also requested Bhattarai to return to the Maoist party if he wants to save his political career.
