Former Nepal King Gyanendra Shah discharged from hospital

Kathmandu, July 21

Former King of Nepal, Gyanendra Shah, has been discharged from the Norvic International Hospital on Friday afternoon.

He was admitted to the Hospital on Wednesday morning after after a routine check showed signs of some clog in his arteries.

He had undergone coronary angioplasty to widen the obstructed arteries on the same day.

The Hospital had decided to discharge him after his health returned to normalcy.

His son and former Crown Prince Paras had reached the Thapathali-based Hospital to receive Shah.
