PM shares ups and downs of 10-month stint as staff bid farewell

Kathmandu, June 5

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal has said his 10-month stint in office has been successful in overall.

Addressing a function organised by staff at Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Monday, the Prime Minister said he had specific targets about constitution implementation, local level elections and local level restructuring among other issues; and he met them all.

Likewise, the nation also made remarkable achievements in terms of economic development and relationship with foreign nations, the Prime Minister claimed.

He had also recounted various challenges of the tenure.

Dahal has already announced his resignation on May 24.

The OPMCM staff including Chief Secretary Som Lal Subedi had organised the function as the Parliament is scheduled to elect the new prime minister tomorrow.

The staff had bid farewell to the outgoing Prime Minister by gifting a Buddha statue.

He also appreciated the Prime Minister as a guardian of the staff family claiming he was a dynamic leader and a change maker.
