Property details of Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal have been published.
Thursday’s Council of Ministers meeting decided to make public the property details of ministers, including the Prime Minister.
According to the published property details, Prime Minister Dahal has a house in Bharatpur Metropolitan City-14 with 14 kattha of land for car parking. It is mentioned in the property details that this house and land are in the name of his late wife, Sita Dahal, and are ancestral property.
It is mentioned that there is 1 kattha of land in Bharatpur Metropolitan City in the name of the late Sita Dahal, obtained from this portion. The Prime Minister has 5 tolas of gold, which is also mentioned as ancestral.
Dahal has mentioned in the property statement that he has a cash balance of Rs 25 lakh in Everest Bank. It is mentioned that the amount is based on the resources received as a member of the House of Representatives.
According to the details, there are no livestock, loans, or vehicles in the name of the Prime Minister.
Ancestral property increase!
When he was Prime Minister in 2016, it was mentioned that he had one kattha of ancestral property and 3 tolas of gold in his property statement. Now, Prime Minister Dahal has also shown 14 additional plots of land as additional assets, but these are also mentioned as ancestral property.
In 2016, Dahal stated that there were only 3 tolas of ancestral gold, but he has now indicated that 5 tolas of gold are ancestral.
