Design and display
The design of the Samsung Galaxy A06 is similar to the Galaxy A05. The back features a dual rear camera system in the universal Samsung design. The back has a glossy finish with parallel lines for a unique look. The frame is also made of plastic and has a brushed aluminium finish. The power button is slightly raised with the new island design featured in other recent smartphones from Samsung.
The front of the Samsung Galaxy A06 features a water drop notch display which houses the selfie camera. The bezels on the sides and the top are thinner whereas the bottom bezel is bulky in size. The display features a 6.7-inch PLS LCD screen, with a resolution of 1600 x 720 (HD+) and a refresh rate of 60 Hz. Its 16 million colour depth ensures rich and dynamic visuals. It has an 83.8% screen-to-body ratio which is slightly larger than the A05.

The Samsung Galaxy A06 is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. It has a decent and reliable performance with its octa-core CPU, featuring two performance 2.0 GHz Cortex-A75 cores and six 1.8 GHz Cortex-A55 cores for efficient multitasking. The Mali-G52 MC2 GPU ensures graphics rendering. The smartphone runs on Android 14 and has 2 generations of OS updates and 4 years of security updates, for software support and enhanced security.
