Kathmandu, May 24

The government has declared a public holiday in Kathmandu Valley on Thursday to mark the Rato Machhindranath Jatra festival to be celebrated in Patan of Lalitpur.

The Ministry of Home Affairs said the holiday would be marked in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur districts.
