Kathmandu, February 19
New Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli says he will launch a campaign to bring happiness to the faces of Nepali people.
Addressing a special function organised on the National Democracy Day at the Army Pavilion in Kathmandu today, Oli said the campaign would need development activities matching to the era and policies and programmes accordingly.
“I request our well-wishers including all Nepali and foreign friends to participate in and support this campaign,” Oli said.
Meanwhile, President Bidya Devi Bhandari, Vice-President Nanda Bahadur Pun, Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli, ministers, chiefs of constitutional bodies, Chief of Army Staff Rajendra Chhetri and other senior officials also attended the annual function.
