Oli, Dahal to jointly address leftist alliance’s mass meetings

Kathmandu, November 9

Chairmen of CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre, KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal respectively, are scheduled to address various mass meetings to be organised by their parties as a part of preparations for upcoming provincial and federal parliamentary elections.

The two biggest leftist forces of the country have formed an alliance to contest the polls jointly across the country.

Oli and Dahal both will address a mass meeting in Gorkha on November 15. They will go to Syangja and Baglung the next day.

Likewise, two mass meetings have been scheduled in Jhapa district on November 18. Similar functions will be organised in Morang on November 19, Rupandehi and Dang on November 21, Surkhet and Dailekh on November 23, Kailali and Kanchanpur on November 24 and Kaski on November 25.

The two parties have already launched an east-west election campaign from Taplejung of east. However, Maoist Centre Chairman Dahal was not present at the inaugural meeting.
