Number of per-day domestic flights to significantly increase from Thursday

Kathmandu, September 30

The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal has increased the number of domestic flights allowed to operate every day for October.

With the resumption of the service on September 21 after a gap of six months, the authority had allowed airline companies to carry out flights partially so as to control the risk of coronavirus spread. On the other hand, the authority and the companies were doubtful about the number of passengers.

Whereas it will still take some more time to resume the full-fledged service, the number of flights will significantly increase from October, according to the authority.

Below is given the numbers of flights allowed to the airline companies:
