Nepal Communist Party, established after the merger between dissolved CPN-UML and CPN-Maoist Centre on Thursday, is likely to use then UML’s central office in Dhumbarahi as its central office for now.

Likewise, then Maoist Centre’s central office in Parisdanda of Koteshwor will be used as office for the party’s sister organisations.

Though the party is yet to make any formal decision about its office management, the new party’s General Secretary Bishnu Paudel assumed his office at Dhumbarahi-based building today.

It has been learned that two chairpersons of the party, KP Sharma Oli and Pushpa Kamal Dahal, will visit both the offices to take stock of available infrastructures and facilities before making the final decision.

The party leaders are busy integrating and assimilating physical properties belonged to then UML and Maoist Centre and properly utilising them for the new entity.
