Kathmandu, June 9
The main opposition CPN-UML has told ruling parties not to ignore the party in decision making.
Addressing the Parliament meeting on Friday, Deputy Leader of the UML Parliamentary Party, Subas Chandra Nembang, complained that the previous government led by CPN-Maoist Centre chief Pushpa Kamal Dahal pushed the party to the edge.
He said the Dahal government did not include the UML in any discussion about political affairs including rescheduling the local level elections and registering the constitution amendment bill.
He reminded the newly elected Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba that Deuba himself had told UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli that the opposition should also be made a part of the state.
Meanwhile, Nembang clarified that the opposition party would support the government in its mission to hold provincial and federal elections by January next year.
