Upcoming elections will open door to stable government: Oli

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli speaks at a function in Dailekh, on November 23, 2017.

Dailekh, November 23

CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli says upcoming elections of provincial assemblies and federal House of Representatives will end the era of political instability.

Whereas a government lasts as long as six months currently, a stable government will be formed after the polls, according to Oli.

Speaking at a function organised in Dailekh district headquarters today, Oli said the leftist alliance would lead the government and would address needs of the country and people.

The next government would work to make people prosperous and equipped with rights, the former prime minister added.

He claimed that constituents of the leftist alliance–the UML and the CPN-Maoist Centre–would unify immediately after the polls.

Maoist Centre leader Ram Bahadur Thapa had also spoken at the function, claiming the stable government would work for equality in the society.
