Metropolitan Traffic Police Division’s Chief Sarvendra Khanal says traffic will block all ‘old vehicles’ from plying roads in the Kathmandu Valley.
Speaking with journalists in Bhaktapur today, Khanal, however, did not define what ‘old vehicles’ would mean and when the new rule would come into effect.
Khanal argued that old vehicles posed various challenges to traffic management in the valley, there it was necessary to restrict their operation.
Meanwhile, Khanal also blamed road conditions for hassles on the road.
