Over 1,600 drivers fined in one-day traffic operation

Kathmandu, March 25

The Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Ramshah Path, took action against around 1,650 drivers in a single day.

On Tuesday alone, 1,640 drivers were penalised across the three districts of the valley. A total of Rs 1,205,510 was collected in fines and tickets from them.

Traffic police have been issuing fines to those violating traffic rules. According to officials, the number of traffic rule violations has increased following the Gen Z movement.
