Dhankuta, December 14
While on his march along the Mid Hill Highway, UML chair KP Sharma Oli was punched by an individual in Dhankuta.
The incident occurred in Mahalaxmi Municipality after Oli entered Dhankuta from Bhojpur.
The attacker, who was in line to welcome Oli, approached and punched him. Security personnel and UML supporters swiftly held the individual after the assault.
Police have arrested the person responsible for the attack, but the motive behind the punch remains undisclosed.
Police have stated that further investigations are ongoing regarding the incident.
