An Indian national from Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, has gone missing after summitting Everest on Saturday afternoon.

Ravi Kumar’s expedition organiser Arun Treks told  Onlinekhabar that other summiteers returning from the top said they did not find any trace of Kumar when the returned to Base Camp.

Kumar reached the top of Everest at 1:28 pm on Saturday. He was accompanied by three Sherpa guides, one of whom has returned to Base Camp. Arun Treks says the Sherpa also suffers from frost bites.

The company says it is organising a mission to look for Kumar.

According to Hindustan Times, Kumar wanted to scale Everest in 2014 but had put off his plans following adverse weather conditions. In 2015, he was about to head to the mountain, but his expedition was called off after the April earthquake.
