Chinese envoy appreciates Dahal’s premiership for ‘balanced diplomacy’

Kathmandu, June 18

Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Yu Hong, has said CPN-Maoist Centre Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal’s premiership was balanced in terms of Nepal government’s relationship with foreign nations.

During a meeting held with the immediate past prime minister in Kathmandu today, the diplomat also commented that Dahal’s 10-month stay in office was successful in achieving significant progress in economic development.

In response, the Maoist leader said he had prioritised the cordial and balanced relationship with two neighbours, India and China.

Issues pertaining to contemporary Nepali politics and bilateral relationship has also bee discussed during the meeting, informed Dahal’s secretariat.
