Design and display

VIVO Y55 comes with an elegant design. It has a glass front, plastic back and a plastic frame build. The back panel of the phone houses a camera panel that has two large camera sensors like the one seen on OnePlus Nord 2T. The back panel also features 3D curves for better grip and comfortable touch. Similarly, the AG technology used on the back of the phone creates a delicate frosted texture that enhances the elegant style of the phone and is fingerprint-resistant as well.

The camera panel on VIVO Y55 is square-shaped and features two large circles that house a triple camera setup. The main 50MP camera on the back is accompanied by a couple of 2MP depth and macro sensors while on the front is a 16MP selfie shooter. The super night selfie noise reduction algorithm on the phone can be pretty handy for those who love taking selfies as shooting in low light should be less of a problem.

The photography modes on the phone include night, portrait, photo, video, double exposure, live photo, 50MP, pano, slow motion, time-lapse, pro and documents.

For the video, the Y55 has the ultra-stable video feature for smooth, steady, and stable videos. The cameras on the front and back can record up to 1080p resolution videos.
