Realme 9

Realme 9 flaunts a similar design seen on the Realme 9 Pro+. There is a punch-hole display on the front and a similar camera module on the back. Built with a glass front, plastic back and a plastic frame, the back panel of the phone is covered with a dynamic 3D ripple texture inspired by the light from the desert. The texture is created through innovative plasma atom-coating and UV-nano imprinting processes. Realme is always innovative when it comes to the back panel of its smartphone.

The phone weighs lightly around 187 grams and is just 7.99 mm in thickness. The phone should be easy on the hands. Similarly, it is available in three colour options: meteor black, sunburst gold and stargaze white.

The display also supports a 90Hz refresh rate and can achieve a peak brightness of up to 1,000 nits. With a 90.8% of screen-to-body ratio, the viewing experience on this device should be great. For better touch response, it also has a 360Hz touch sampling rate. Furthermore, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5. There is an under-display fingerprint sensor for biometrics.

Realme 9 too has some glimpses of its elder sibling. The phone is equipped with a 108MP triple camera setup on the back while there is a single sensor on the front. The main 108MP camera is accompanied by an 8MP, 120 degrees ultrawide and a 2MP macro sensor. The main camera has a dual-pixel PDAF feature. On the front is a 16MP selfie shooter.

The camera features on the phone include 108MP mode, night mode, panoramic view, expert, portrait mode, HDR, ultra-wide, ultra macro, AI scene recognition, AI beauty, filter, bokeh effect control, street mode, text scanner, tilt-shift and photo mode.
