Popular vlogger Sisan Baniya sparked speculation among fans on Thursday evening after making an unexpected announcement on his Instagram broadcast channel, hinting at the possible end of his YouTube journey.
“I’ll vlog only until Tihar. After that, the Sisan Baniya YouTube era will end,” he wrote—without providing further explanation. The cryptic message left followers both surprised and confused, with many questioning, “Why?” and urging him not to stop.
While some fans took the post seriously, others speculated it might be a light-hearted remark or a joke. As of the time of this report, Baniya has not issued any additional clarification.
Efforts by Onlinekhabar to reach him for comment were unsuccessful.
Observers suggest two possibilities: either Baniya is genuinely planning to step away from vlogging after Tihar, or he made the comment playfully and will continue posting content as usual—or potentially hand over his channel to someone else.
Interestingly, just before his announcement, he had polled followers asking, “What should I do next?” with many voting in favour of more vlogs. He had also reassured fans, writing, “Daily vlogs are coming.”
For now, his YouTube channel continues to upload regular content, including recent vlogs from Mustang. He is also reportedly preparing for the upcoming MMA fight of Indian fighter Ravindra Dhant, scheduled for August 2. Until Baniya speaks further, the future of his YouTube presence remains uncertain.
