There is a pretty minimalistic camera setting in Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 lite. There is only a single camera setup on both the front and rear sides of the tab. The rear boasts an 8MP autofocus camera whereas there is a 2MP selfie camera at the front. You cannot expect great photos or videos from this device, but then, this is not the main purpose of the device.

Talking about the battery life, it boasts a huge 5100 mAh, non-removable battery. Since this is a portable device, it can be used as an alternative to laptops for performing basic works. The battery backup is decent and you can easily complete your online classes or watch movies and series without worrying about the charger. Even when the battery is low, you can charge it through a 15W fast charger.

Storage and connectivity

There are currently three variants of Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in Nepal. The wifi version has 4GB RAM and a storage of 64GB whereas the LTE versions have 3/32GB and 4/64GB variants. There is also a dedicated microSDXC card slot if you want to extend the memory of the device.

The device supports a nano sim card. It supports Wi-Fi 802.11 and Bluetooth 5.0  for connectivity. It does not support NFC and also there is no FM radio on the device.  For further connectivity, it uses a USB Type-C 2.0. The device has a 3.5mm headphone jack and has stereo speakers as well.

Price and value for money

The price of the wifi-only variant of Galaxy Tab A7 Lite in Nepal is Rs 20,499 whereas the 3/32 GB and 4/64 GB variants cost Rs 21,999 and Rs 23,999 respectively. With the given specifications, the price seems to be a little high as there are lots of smartphones that provide much better performance and better specifications at the same price range. The big screen is the only positive side of this tablet comparing to smartphones of the same price range.
