SAG: Nepal crosses highest gold medal record

With three more gold medals added to the list on Thursday, Nepal has crossed its previous record of the number of gold medals it received in any single edition of the South Asian Games so far.

The highest of the gold medals Nepal earned was during the eighth SAG held in 1999 in Nepal. Now, the number of gold medals in this 13th edition has reached 32.

On Thursday, Buddhi Bahadur Tamang and Laxmi Magar in cycling and Nima Gharti Magar in wushu won the gold medals. Earlier, Nepal won 15, eight, and six gold medals on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday respectively.
