Kathmandu, June 12
Sajha Bibeksheel Party chief Rabindra Mishra has extended his solidarity to a group of protestors who have launched a demonstration against the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee in the House of Representatives.
Mishra jointed the demonstration at Maitighar Mandala of Kathmandu on Wednesday and addressed the protestors. He called them to put pressure on the Public Service Commission not to implement the House panel’s directive about cancelling the vacancy announcement for around 10,000 positions at the local level.
Mishra was of the view that a constitutional body would not be obliged to obey the House panel’s order.
Earlier on Monday, the panel had directed the Commission to cancel a call for applications as stakeholders and political parties criticised it for not allocating sufficient reservations for marginalised social groups.
