PM Cup cricket: EDR, FWDR share points in rain-affected match

Kathmandu, May 26

Farwestern Development Region and Eastern Development Region share points as play was called off ahead of time due to heavy rain in their Group A fixture of the Prime Minister’s Cup cricket tournament.

Batting fires, FDR posteed 153 runs before losing all their wickets in 45.2 overs. Rain stopped play in the second innings in the fifth over when EDR has post 22 runs on the board.

Bijay Rana was the highest run getter for the Farwestern. He made 55 runs in off 108 balls. Seven batsmen could not reach double figures.
