Parliament’s budget session to begin next week

Kathmandu, April 21

Parliament’s budget session will convene on April 29, the President’s Office said on Sunday.

According to the office, President Bidya Devi Bhandari will present the government’s annual policies and programmes before Parliament on May 3.

Parliament is then expected to deliberate over the government’s new budget, which according to the constitution must be passed before May 29.
