Janakpurdham, December 7
A man has been found dead in Ekdara rural municipality of the Mahottari district in southeastern Nepal on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Ramsrishtha Yadav, a resident of Ankar, Jaleshwar municipality-7 of the district. SP Dinesh Acharya of the District Police Office says his body was found near a brick kiln in Bathanaha, Ekdara-5 of the district this morning.
SP Acharya says a preliminary investigation revealed he drowned in a pond there.
The body has been sent to a nearby hospital for postmortem, and the police say the further investigation will proceed once the postmortem report comes out.
