Itel Vision 3 in Nepal: The phone has almost everything you expect in the budget range

Itel Vision 3 is yet another release from Itel Mobiles in Nepal. The phone was released together with Itel A49. This is the expensive version between the two and offers some major upgrades over A49.

Itel Vision 3 has the same size display that was seen on the A49 model. It also boasts a similar design but comes with a change in the camera module. A better camera performance can be expected from this phone as it offers higher resolution camera sensors. Similarly, the battery backup is also better on this model and more importantly, it offers a fast charging system. This phone also offers better storage and even has a dedicated game assist mode. It means the phone has almost everything you expect in the budget range.

Itel Vision 3 has a glass front, plastic back and plastic frame build. This phone shares a similar design to Itel A49. The back of the phone has the same textured design but comes with a different-shaped camera panel. The bigger camera panel houses two camera sensors and a dummy sensor while the positioning of the LED flash has also changed and now resides just at the side of the top camera. Like the economic model A49, the fingerprint sensor on this phone is also on the back panel. On the bottom left is a similar, neat Itel branding.

The phone gets a little bit slimmer at 8.85mm while the weight has not been disclosed in this model as well. The phone is available in black, blue and green colour variants.

On the front is a 6.60-inch water-drop notch IPS LCD display offering a resolution of 720*1,612 pixels and 270PPI density. The display supports a refresh rate of standard 60Hz.

Itel Vision 3 has a dual camera setup on the back. The main 8MP camera is housed together with a VGA depth sensor and an LED flash. The main camera has an aperture of f/2.0 and comes with a PDAF feature. Meanwhile, on the front is a 5MP selfie camera, which resides inside the water-drop notch.

The camera is said to be able to record videos in up to 1080p resolution at 30fps.

Itel Vision 3 runs on Android 11 Go edition and is powered by UniSoC SC9863A (28nm) chipset. The graphics on the phone is handled by PowerVR GE8322. The phone has a dedicated game assistant mode. When the mode is enabled, it is said to improve the smoothness and enhance the screen saturation and give users a full frame gaming experience. It also hides the notification during the gaming period.

Storage option on Itel Vision 3 includes 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. The user can further expand the storage by up to 128GB with a microSD card.

Battery life, connectivity and others

Itel Vision 3 comes with an improved 5,000mAh non-removable li-po battery backup. The company has marketed that the battery can provide the power for up to 158 hours of music, up to 28 hours of calls, up to 18 hours of video playback and up to 559 hours of standby time. Another improvement on the phone is that it comes with an 18W fast charger making it the first ever fast charging Itel smartphone.

The battery optimisation on the phone is also said to be extremely efficient. The company claims with only 10 minutes of charging, the battery provides:

  • Up to 16 hours of music
  • Up to 3 hours of call time
  • Up to 2 hours of video playing
  • Up to 2 hours of Facebook

Itel Vision 3 supports dual sims with 4G network connectivity. The phone also supports GPS and FM radio. The Bluetooth 4.2 on the phone can be used for wireless pairing and file transferring while the USB type-C cable is used for charging and wired pairing. For the audio, there is a loudspeaker as well as a 3.5mm headphone jack on the phone.

Itel Vision 3 is priced at Rs 15,400 for the 4/64GB variant.
