Design and display

Infinix Hot 12 Pro comes with a glass front, plastic back and a plastic frame build. The phone offers a trendy design with flat sides and round corners. The matte flat design on the back does not sustain fingerprints on them. Overall, the phone has a better design than its base model variant. A newly designed camera panel can be seen on the back of the phone. Similarly, the fingerprint sensor is on the back of the phone instead of the side as seen on the base model.

On the front is a 6.6-inch IPS LCD display offering a resolution of 720*1,612 pixels and 267 PPI density. The display supports a 90Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. It helps in the smooth navigation of the phone with better touch response. The phone also offers eye-care mode. Upon enabling this mode, the phone filters out the harmful blue lights and reduces the eye strain of the user. However, the user would not be able to see the original colours and instead sees warm-toned colours.

Cameras

Infinix Hot 12 Pro has an upgraded camera sensor. The phone comes with a 50MP dual camera setup on the back with an aperture of f/1.6. The wide aperture can be great, especially while clicking low lights pictures. The phone itself has a night scene photography mode for better results. The main camera is accompanied by another disclosed AI camera. Similarly, on the front is an 8MP selfie shooter, which too is marketed as a good camera for night shots.

The cameras are accompanied by a dual flash on both ends. The camera is capable of recording 1080p resolution videos at 30fps.

Performance and storage

Infinix Hot 12 Pro runs on XOS 10.6 based on Android 12. The phone is powered by Unisoc T616 (12nm) chipset and the graphics are handled by Mali- G57. The OS of the phone comes with features like smart scene, Xvocal and Beez.

The phone is currently available in only a single variant. It comes with 6GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of internal storage. The user has the option to expand both RAM storage as well as internal storage. The phone uses up to 5GB of internal storage as RAM memory. There is a dedicated microSD card slot on the phone, with which the memory can be further expanded up to 512GB.

To boost the gaming on the phone, there is an X-arena mode which blocks all the incoming notifications. This surely prevents distractions during online gaming, but on the downside, you may also miss an important call or notification.

Battery life, connectivity and others
