Kathmandu, May 28
A meeting of the Legislature-Parliament on Sunday has passed the policies and programmes presented by the government for the fiscal year 2017/18.
The policies and programmes were read out by President Bidya Devi Bhandari at the May 25 Parliament meeting.
Before the endorsement, Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal had responded to the queries raised over the policies and programmes of the government.
Meanwhile, the meeting also disapproved the amendment proposal made by lawmakers Prem Suwal, Anuradha Thapa Magar and Durga Poudel over the policies and programmes.
Based on the policies and programmes passed today, the budget (details of income and expenditure) for the fiscal year 2017/18 is being presented on Monday.
