Kathmandu, May 14
Two Covid-19 patients who had run away from an isolation ward of Narayani Sub-regional Hospital of Birgunj in Parsa district on Wednesday have been detained.
The absconding Indian nationals were detained on Wednesday evening, according to police.
The chief of the District Police Office, SP Ganga Panta, says one was detained at Tilabe Bridge whereas another at Hariharpur. One was walking on the street whereas the second person was hiding in his uncle’s house.
Police handed over both to the hospital.
It is not yet clear why they ran away from the hospital.
