Banks and financial institutions have said they will charge people for using other banks’ ATMs to withdraw money from the accounts at other banks from Thursday again.
Nepal Bankers’ Association representing commercial banks, Development Bankers Association Nepal representing development banks, and Nepal Financial Institutions Association representing other finance companies had let their customers using any ATMs to withdraw money considering mobility restrictions during the lockdown.
Now, the restrictions have been eased and people have resumed movement, hence the facility would discontinue, the three organisations said in a statement today.
