Kathmandu, February 12
The chief minister of Bagmati provincial government, Dor Mani Paudel, expanded his Cabinet on Wednesday, by inducting his own Nepal Communist Party’s leader Rameshwar Phuyal as the Minister for Physical Infrastructure.
The post was vacant since the removal of Keshav Sthapit in November 2018. Phuyal was working as the chief whip of the party in the Provincial Assembly.
A source close to the chief minister says Phuyal will take the oath of office and secrecy and assume his office in the provincial capital, Hetaunda, after 4 pm today.
Just a few days back, CM Paudel had consulted the central leadership of the party including Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli about the expansion.
