Kathmandu, May 13
Eighteen of the people who were confirmed of coronavirus infection in Birgunj of Parsa district on Tuesday have not been admitted to any hospital for want of sufficient beds.
The Narayani Sub-regional Hospital in Birgunj has been designated as the Covid-19 hospital in the district, but there are already 69 Covid-19 patients. Other 18 are either at their homes or in temporary quarantine sites.
When 83 new Covid-19 cases had been confirmed across the country on Tuesday, 57 were from Birgunj.
