Forum warns of leaving govt

File: Upendra Yadav in Parliament

Kathmandu, February 5

The chief whip of Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal has warned that his party will leave the current government if it fails to correct the working style.

Uma Shankar Agariya says the party has called a meeting of the parliamentary party to make a concrete decision about its role in the government.

The leader demands that the government be serious about crucial political issues including the demand for constitution amendment and suspected irregularities in the purchase of two wide body aircraft.

The party chairperson Upendra Yadav is a deputy prime minister and another Mohammad Istiyak Rai is the Minister for Urban Development in the current government.

In another context, Agariya claims his party is also taking the role of opposition in Parliament thanks to the incompetence of Nepali Congress.
