Kathmandu, November 11
United Democratic Madheshi Front has boycotted Friday’s Parliament meeting.
Right after the meeting began, on behalf of the front, Ashok Rai, leader of the Federal Socialist Forum’s Parliamentary Party, spoke by demanding special time. Right after that, UDMF lawmakers boycotted the meeting.
UDMF is preparing to obstruct the Parliament meeting from Mangsir 1 (November 16) if the government does not register the Constitution amendment proposal by Kartik-end (November 15).
Friday’s meeting is to discuss the impeachment motion filed against suspended CIAA Chief Commissioner Lokman Singh Karki.
UDMF was earlier preparing to not take part in the impeachment process and boycott the Parliament meeting instead.
