Kathmandu, August 8
Veteran painter and writer Manuj Babu Mishra passed away in the wee hours of Wednesday.
The 83-year-old artist died of heart attack at around 2 am today, according to the family sources. He was asleep at his home in Kathmandu when he suffered the heart attack.
Manuj Babu is the father of Bibeksheel Sajha Party’s coordinator Rabindra Mishra.
The family informs that he was suffering from high blood pressure for last few years.
Rabindra’s younger brother is currently abroad and the final rites will be conducted after he returns, a source inside the Mishra family informs.
Manuj Babu Mishra is survived by his wife, two sons and two daughters.
