PM put off ventilator as health condition improves

Kathmandu, November 27

Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has been put off the ventilator that he was on at the intensive care unit of the Manmohan Cardiovascular and Thoracic Transplant Centre, his secretariat informs.

Oli’s press advisor Surya Thapa says his condition is improving. Earlier, on Tuesday, the prime minister had undergone an operation at the centre after he was diagnosed with appendicitis.

However, Oli will remain in the hospital for the next few days, according to the doctors attending him.
