Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Wednesday met Samiksha Sangraula, the lady who donated a kidney for him during the transplant last week.

As Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital discharged Sangruala today, she went to the PM and asked how he was feeling, according to Oli’s press advisor Surya Thapa. He said Oli tanked Sangruala for the donation during the meeting.

Meanwhile, the hospital has not yet clarified when the PM will be discharged.

Members of his secretariat say that Oli will be restricted from frequent meetings even after the discharge. They say the doctors have advised him to stay away from people suffering from cough, common cold and other infections for at least one month.

“For the next few days, the Cabinet meeting will not be held. Whenever they are held, he will keep a distance from others.”
