Kathmandu, September 18
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is scheduled to fly to the United States this Saturday to take part in the 73rd session of the United Nations General Assembly.
The Assembly will begin in New York today. Leaders of each of the member states begin addressing the session from September 25. Oli is scheduled to address the Assembly on September 27.
Oli’s Secretariat says the Prime Minister will lead a 20-member delegation to the annual event of the global body.
The General Assembly is one of the six main organs of the United Nations, the only one in which all Member States have equal representation: one nation, one vote.
