Nepal squad for ACC U-19 Asia Cup announced

The Nepal squad for upcoming ACC U-19 Asia Cup has been announced on Sunday.

Coach Binod Das and ACC’s advisor for Nepal U-19 team Venkatapathy Raju made the selection of 18 players.

Rashid Khan and Jitendra Singh have been included in the team for the first time.

While Dipendra Singh Airee continues to captain the team, Sandeep Jora and Bikram Bhusal have been listed as extra players. Nandan Yadav has chosen not to play due to health reasons. Sumit Maharjan has failed to qualify.

Other members of the team include Rohit Kumar Paudel, Sandeep Sunar, Pranit Thapa Magar, Anil Kumar Shah, Pawan Sarraf, Aashif Shekh, Kishor Mahato, Sahab Alam, Prakash KC, Kamal Singh Airee and Bhim Sarki.

The team will leave for Bangladesh on Monday. They will play three practice matches with Bangladeshi U-19 team.
