Kathmandu, May 25
The Ministry of Health and Population says the fourth death related to the Covid-19 has been recorded in the country. Meanwhile, the national infection tally has reached 682 as of 4:15 pm on Monday.
The ministry’s spokesperson Bikas Devkota says the 70-year-old man who died at a hospital in Birgunj last week tested positive for the coronavirus on Monday, and this case has been reported as the fourth Covid-19 death.
Nepal had reported the first Covid-19 death on May 16, the second on May 17, and the third on May 21.
Meanwhile, seven new cases including the death case have been confirmed since the ministry’s update in the morning, according to him.
Devkota says 112 people have achieved recovery and got discharged from different hospitals until Monday.
