Kathmandu, September 8
Five persons died and two persons sustained injuries in a landslide in Kanakasundari rural municipality-5 of the Jumla district in Karnali on Friday night.
Two other persons, critically injured, have been rescued and are undergoing treatment at a local health facility, informs Chief District Officer Mukesh Kumar Keshari.
Details of the incident are awaited.
Meanwhile, Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand has directed concerned authorities not to leave any stone unturned in their rescue and rehabilitation efforts.
