Kathmandu, January 13

Three persons are missing after being buried in a landslide in the Ruby Valley of the Dhading district on Thursday morning.

A helicopter has been mobilised for the search, but to no avail yet.

SP Rakesh Singh, the chief of the District Police Office, says an excavator operator, his assistant and a local got buried as the excavator was constructing a road in ward 1 of the rural municipality.

The missing ones have been identified as the operator Akash Tamang, his assistant Raju Tamang and local Anish Tamang.

The incident site is four hours’ walk from the nearest police post in Sertung.
