Kathmandu, March 31
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli says the Nepal Investment Summit, which concluded on Saturday, was fruitful.
Oli, who was speaking at a programme organised to mark the 21st anniversary of Reporters’ Club Nepal, said that the summit will help build new infrastructure in the country.
“We successfully organised the event and the whole nation stood together. We sent a message that we are focused and we have one voice,” he asserted. The Prime Minister said that it would be difficult for Nepal to march on its quest for development without the support of foreign partners.
On a different note, he said although the adjustment of government employees under the new federal system was not an easy task to accomplish, it was completed with the passage of the new law. “The federal, provincial and local levels will now work in coordination as per their jurisdictions.”
