Kathmandu, October 24
A committee in the House of Representatives says it will try to include some Chinese officials also in its market monitoring activities.
A meeting of the Industry, Commerce, Labour and Consumer Interest Protection Committee on Thursday decided to make efforts to include the officials of the neighbouring country so that they can share their experiences with Nepali monitors. The meeting, however, did not specify when, where and how the Chinese team would join the Nepali monitors.
Meanwhile, the Chinese monitors and members of the committee exchange their experiences during the meeting today. They discussed consumer rights and the right to food among other related issues.
