Kathmandu, November 17
The National Examinations Board says it will publish results of the grade 12 examinations by December 1. The examinations were held in September.
The board’s Member-Secretary Durga Prasad Aryal says preparations are underway to publish the results within November.
Examination Controller Krishna Prasad Sharma says all related tasks such as examining answer sheets, tabulating scores, and verifying documents have reached the final stage. “We will publish the results as soon as possible.”
The examinations, which should have been held as early as June, were postponed twice due to the second wave of the Covid-19 crisis. As the students already lost several precious months due to the pandemic, stakeholders have been calling for early results.
The board says around 375,000 students are waiting for their final school results across the country.
