SEE results likely within two days

Kathmandu, May 10

The National Examination Board is preparing to publish the results of the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) within the next two days.

The Board, which aims to publish the results within a month of the examination, has completed the data entry process and is currently conducting verification to avoid any errors.

“We are close to publishing the results. They are expected by tomorrow or the day after. The IT team is working on it,” said Examination Controller Tuka Raj Adhikari. “We will publish the results ensuring there are no errors.”

According to him, the results are being released earlier this year because answer sheets were evaluated at the examination centres themselves.

“There was good participation from teachers. The answer sheets were checked at the examination centres. Due to the change in strategy, we are able to publish the results sooner,” Adhikari said.

The Board is preparing to convene a meeting once the IT work is completed. The results will be made public after the Board meeting.

“The Board meeting will be held once the IT work is completed,” he added.

The SEE examinations were conducted from March 31 to April 10. A total of 512,421 students had filled out examination forms this year. Of them, 441,566 were regular examinees and 70,855 were appearing for grade improvement examinations. Among the examinees, 257,613 were female students, 254,801 were male students, and seven belonged to other gender categories.
