Kathmandu, August 20
Ruling coalition partner CPN-Maoist Centre is sending eight leaders as state ministers to Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba-led joint government.
They are scheduled to take the oath of office and secrecy from the PM today itself.
Those being sworn in as state ministers and their portfolios are given below:
- Shyam Kumar Shrestha: Home Affairs
- Ram Singh Yadav: Foreign Affairs
- Jakir Hussein: Energy
- Shambhu Lal Shrestha: Health
- Karna Bahadur BK: Supplies
- Chham Bahadur Gurung: Urban Development
- Goma Kunwar: Livestock Development
- Wangdi Sherpa: General Administration
It has been learned that two other coalition members, Nepali Congress and Nepal Democratic Forum, are also sending some leaders as state ministers within few days.
