Kathmandu, December 26
Former Nepal Army General Balananda Sharma has taken the oath of office and secrecy as Minister for Foreign Affairs.
Sharma, who was appointed minister earlier today, was sworn in by President Ram Chandra Paudel at the President’s Office, Shital Niwas.
The oath-taking ceremony was attended by the Vice President, the Prime Minister, the Chief Justice, ministers, and other dignitaries.
